| Bio: |  Character Name: Yuna Braska. Gender: Female. Age: 20. Height: 5'3. Class/Job: Summoner, White Mage, Gunner. Weapon: Staffs, Pistols. Race: Half Al-Bhed, half human. Eyes: One blue, one green due to heterochromia. Home: Born in Bevelle and raised in Besaid, Spira. Appearance: Yuna is a thin woman with short, brown choppy hair that just barely reaches down to her shoulders. A single, beaded strand hangs down just in front of her ear, adorned with blue and white beads. She has a heart-shaped, sweet face and a gentle smile. Most notably is her heterochromia; that is, one eye is green while the other is blue. Her blue eye comes from her half-Spiran ancestry while her green eye comes from her half-Al Bhed ancestry. Yuna once wore a beaded strand that hung in front of her face, but after the Final Calm, she cut her hair to look lik Tidus'. She did keep the floor length braid at the back of her head, which is wrapped in pink cloth and hangs behind her. Yuna’s attire usually consists of skirts. But every once in a while, she’ll slip into her furisode kimono: the one she wore during her pilgrimage. The kimono has a detached, white shirt that wraps around her front, but leaves her back bare. Long, flowing white sleeves with pink-dyed tips are attached on her upper arm by a band. When in the kimono, she wears a bright, yellow obi that is embroidered with floral designs. Yuna's skirt is a long, dark, purple color with a single slit up the left side. Along this slit and across the hem of the article is a pink, floral design. She wears black boots with the outfit, and her only accessories are a simple, silver necklace and a matching ring. It is believed these came from her long dead mother. Personality: Yuna is a fierce friend. She is shy but has no problem standing up for what she believes in. Her passion to help others drives her in her decisions often. She is still a bit naïve, though nothing compared to what she was before the Calm. She is respectful, strong, a leader more than a follower, polite, kind, and accepting of almost anyone. She is extremely intelligent and has broken out of her seriousness, thanks to Tidus and her other Guardian friends. She is willing to die for those she loves, something that carried over from the expected and needed “suicide” to bring the Final Summon. Abilities/Weapons: Yuna is skilled in both white and black magic, but is more knowledgeable in white. She lost her ability to summon Aeons after performing the Sending ritual, more or less freeing them into the land of the dead. Yuna has a staff that she carries in battle, though she rarely uses it to physically hit anything. Its purposes are magic based. She knows how to use a gun, having used a small one before. She has collected orbs that contain different abilities and, depending on which orb she uses, different weapons come with said orb. An animal companion, a microphone, a Berserker outfit… it ranges. Strengths/Weaknesses: Yuna has determination that isn’t to be messed with. She knows how to be a leader and stand up for what she believes in. However, Yuna still has a hard time when it comes to talking or thinking about Tidus. He haunts her dreams, which often leaves her in a state of depression upon first waking up. This is happening less often as it once used to, but it’s still an issue. Brief History: Yuna was born in Bevelle , but raised on an island called Besaid. Whether it is a conscious choice or scars running too deep, Yuna recalls little of her childhood. Her mother died while she was just a young girl and her father tried raising her as best as he could. Being a famous High Summoner had many demands and children tended to get in the way of these demands. She did, however, follow in her father’s footsteps and became a Summoner herself the young age of 17. As a Summoner, Yuna traveled across Spira to end the threat the malevolent force Sin posed to her world, aided by her Aeons and guardians: Kimahri Ronso, who took care of her after she was orphaned; Lulu, who treats her as a younger sister; and Wakka, with whom — along with Lulu — she has been close friends since childhood. At some point, a strange boy who claims to be from Zanarkand arrives, seeming to have lost 1,000 years of his life. This boy is Tidus. Yuna takes him as her fourth guardian, and later, Auron — who was also guardian to her father. Finally, Yuna's maternal cousin Rikku becomes Yuna's sixth and final guardian. During her pilgrimage, Yuna becomes battle-hardened and her Yevonite beliefs are shaken and eventually shattered. Furthermore, her ever-growing relationship with Tidus causes her to question her quest, and think more for herself. Eventually she separate herself from her faith, and when Tidus eventually learns the full implication of the Final Summoning — that Yuna will sacrifice herself, as her father did, in order to bring about a temporary period free of Sin his perspective persuades her that they can find another, more permanent way to rid Spira of the threat of Sin. After bringing the Final Calm to her home land, Yuna traveled alone for nearly three years, trying to find herself and peace from the torment from losing her first love, Tidus. She needed break from the fame that came with being a High Summoner who brought the first lasting Calm. After leaving Besaid, Yuna undergoes a total makeover, complete with a new outfit. From there, she sets out as a sphere hunter (a new craze sweeping Spira), becoming a member of the Gullwings to learn more about the sphere that features a young man with a strong resemblance to Tidus confined within a prison cell. The Gullwings' members include Rikku, a mysterious young woman named Paine, Al Bhed child prodigy named Shinra, Rikku's brother Brother, and his friend Buddy. Together with Rikku and Paine, the trio of girls are known as "YRP!". One of their missions was to recover her Garment Grid and Songstress Dressphere, which are stolen by Leblanc, who subsequently uses it to impersonate Yuna. While Rikku and Paine attempt to stealthily get the grid back, Yuna is forced to use the Gullwings' "prized" Mascot dressphere until her presence was required. By that time, Yuna, in her gunner dressphere, shows up with Rikku and Paine. Together, the Gullwings defeat Leblanc and her chief honchos, Ormi and Logos. Yuna displays some changes in personality after the Final Calm. While still very kind-hearted and serious about her duties and putting others first, Yuna is more open and direct. However, her friends still occasionally tease her about her habit of being a pushover, for she can never turn her back on anyone's request for some form of aid, such acts of charity as these comprising the majority of the game's side-quests and missions. Her relationships from her travels as a Summoner have given her a new look at life and – freed from the responsibilities and restrictions of her former role as summoner – she is presented as a much more free-spirited person. She also regards Rikku as something of a role model, picking up on her eccentric expressions, which included "disasteriffic" and "oh, poopie!" Her purpose for traveling with the Gullwings, however, is mainly because she hopes to find more spheres that would link with the one Kimahri found, what she hopes is a clue that Tidus is alive. Her investigations eventually lead her into the plots of Shuyin and the various opposing factions in the post-Sin Spira, particularly those of the Youth League and New Yevon. The Gullwings in general – and Yuna in particular – seek to restore some sense of unity and peace to a dangerously divided world, as well as to stop forces which would seek to damage Spira even further. Yuna was briefly reunited with Tidus, a gift to her from the fayth as thanks for having saved the world a second time, but has since lost him upon arriving at on the island at the mansion.
